Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel 
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O prince of the heavenly host, by the Power of God, thrust into Hell Satan and all evil spirits who wander through the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

Sisters, why am I not surprised that you are responding so generously to the Rosary collection for Liberia, even parting with some of your treasured ones? I am not surprised but am immensely grateful to each of you as are also the bishops and people back home. I will continue to collect Rosaries, Franciscan crowns, and Seven Sorrows until the end of 2023. The goal is twenty thousand! May God bless each of you for being part of this very meaningful endeavor.

By the Seaside – By the Beautiful Sea

July 23 – 28, 2023

 

The waters of chaos swirled in Genesis. The waters of the Red Sea parted in Exodus. The waters of the Sea of Galilee frightened and calmed and fed the disciples in the Gospels. Through our the Biblical tradition the Sea has been a particular place of God encountering God’s People. Join us to explore and experience the presence of God By the Seaside of the Scriptures and By the Beautiful Sea of our hearts.

 

Retreat Director: Father Dennis Mason, OFM Conv, is a friar-priest in the Order of the Friars Minor Conventual. Father enjoys leading spiritual retreats with lay women and men, those in consecrated life, priests, deacons and seminarians. Entering the Franciscans in 1968, Father Dennis was ordained in 1978. He has served in the ministries of parish leadership, education and province administration.
